Pond 006 is located on property owned by the <br />Friederick family. Pond 017 is located on property owned by new owners to the <br />Ricks' property. Surface Ownership map, Exhibit 3-1, in pen -nit was last updated <br />with SO -2, and dated 12/1/2015. <br />4. Tab 18 in the PAP needs to be updated to correct the statement on page 2 of this <br />section that all ponds, with the exception of Pond 005 and Pond 006 will be <br />reclaimed. <br />SP updated Tab 18, p. 2 to state that ponds 005,006, 009, 015, 016 and 017 have <br />been approved to remain as permanent impoundments. This reponse is <br />acceptable. <br />5. Tab 19 of the PAP needs Table 19-1 to be updated to reflect the current status of <br />the reclamation .schedule. <br />SP updated Table 19-1. This response is adequate. <br />6. Although, no new mining activity is planned.for this permit term, please assure that the <br />plant species of concern are up to date with the current list. Rule 2.04.10(5). The CNHP <br />has updated their species of concern in 2013 and 2014. (www.cnhp.coloradostate.edu) <br />SP has updated the species of concern section regarding vegetation species. This <br />response is acceptable. <br />7. Please assure that the evaluation of threatened and endangered animal species of' <br />concern is up to date with the most current list as well. Rule 2.04.11(4) and Rule <br />2.05.6 (2) (a) (iii) (A). <br />SP updated this section to include Threatened and Endangered species updates through <br />12/2016. This response is adequate. <br />8. A permit commitment requires that SP re-initiate specific water quality parameters at <br />least one year prior to final bond release application.
