Blue Mountain <br />Energy, Inc. has submitted an application for a <br />Technical Revision, TR -70. The revision propos- <br />es to install a new mine dewatering system for the <br />B -Seam workings. The proposal includes pump- <br />ing water from the workings through an existing <br />service hole. The water will enter a series of <br />treatment ponds before discharging into a natural <br />drainage. The proposed dewatenng system is <br />along the existing access road to the train load - <br />out. The revision proposes to disturb 9.85 acres <br />of land. <br />The Deserado Mine is a/an underground coal <br />mine located in Moffat, Rio Blanco County, <br />approximately 7 miles NE of Rangely, Colorado. <br />Coal interest is federal, and the surface affected <br />is federal and private land.
