Our
county surveyor has been extremely busy and unable to map the location in a timely manner in order for
us to complete the conversion application and submit by the due date of January 19, 2017. County staff
has also been in and out of the office throughout the holiday season causing insufficient time to work on
the application in a thorough manner. Inasmuch these are not excuses, but we certainly want to complete
the application and materials correctly so that it is in approvable form to resolve this matter. We will
continue our best efforts to complete by the January 19th deadline, but do not realistically believe we
will have the conversion application in completed format by this date.
After discussion with our surveyor and staff, we feel that an additional 45-60 days would be extremely
beneficial to us to properly complete the application and materials to be submitted. We certainly want to
comply with your rules, but the timeline given is not suitable given our circumstances.
We appreciate your time regarding this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to contact this office at the address, phone number or email address listed above.
Sincerely,
Marcy L. Brossman
Cheyenne County Administrator
Rod Pelton, Commissioner Chairman Nancy Bogenhagen, Commissioner PatrickJ. Ward, Commissioner Vice Chairman
Marcy L.
