CRG Mining LLC
510 S. Wisconsin St.
Gunnison, CO 81230
December 15,2016
Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman St.,Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Re: New 110(2)Permit Application,Upper Gold Links Mine
To whom it may concern:
Please find the enclosed 110(2)permit application with attached exhibits and application
fee,for the proposed"Upper Gold Links Mine"site.
This permit is to facilitate extension and development of a mine on the site of an existing
NOI. The site surface presently consists of existing roads and an existing portal(Upper
Gold Links,400 Level,as shown on the maps). The proposed permitted site will
continue to be accessible via the same existing road, which will not require significant
improvement.
The existing portal area includes a small waste rock pad and waste dump, which will be
expanded as the underground workings are developed and, possibly, eventually
connected to the workings of the permitted Gold Links Mine(permit M-1987-143). The
new disturbance under this permit may also include constructing a new portal at the site
of the Upper Gold Links 300 Level, which is currently abandoned and caved. All waste
rock to be placed on the dump will be inert.
The site is near an dry upland gulch which never flows. Adequate stormwater and
drainage controls will be employed throughout the project, however,to ensure complete
containment of sediment on the site. All growth medium encountered in the footprint of
the proposed waste rock dump and portal area will be stripped and saved in a location
where it can be protected during the mining phases.
Please contact me if you have further questions.
(coat.)
