CRG Mining LLC
510 S. Wisconsin St.
Gunnison, CO 81230
December 15, 2016
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Re: New 110(2) Permit Application, Sacramento Access Tunnel
To whom it may concern:
Please find the enclosed 110(2) permit application with attached exhibits and application
fee, for the proposed "Sacramento Access Tunnel" site.
This permit is to facilitate construction of an access tunnel into the existing workings of
the Historic Sacramento mine. The site surface presently consists of existing roads and an
existing portal (Dunraven portal, as shown on the maps). The new portal site and the
Dunraven portal are both accessible via existing roads which do not require significant
improvement.
The existing Dunraven portal area includes a small waste rock pad, which will not be
redisturbed. The new disturbance under this permit will consist of constructing a new
portal for the access tunnel, and development of a small waste rock dump as the tunnel is
driven back to the existing workings. All waste rock to be placed on the dump will be
inert.
The site is near an upland dry gulch which never flows. Adequate stormwater and
drainage controls will be employed throughout the project, however, to ensure complete
containment of sediment on the site. All growth medium encountered in the footprint of
the proposed waste rock dump and adit area will be stripped and saved in an area where it
can be protected during the mining phases.
Please contact me if you have further questions.
(cant.)
