All review and comment <br />periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from <br />this date of filing. <br /> <br />Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC proposes to continue surface coal mining and/or <br />reclamation operations on land located approximately 2.5 miles Northwest of Nucla. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Portions of Sections 25 and 36, T 47 N, R 16 W, N.M.P.M. <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Nucla. <br /> <br />With Permit Renewal Application No. 1, Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation proposes to continue <br />surface coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located approximately 2.7 miles <br />northwest of Nucla. No new surface disturbance has been proposed with this application. <br /> <br />This renewal application does not propose revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, <br />nor is there any proposed surface disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area.
