Morton Lakes 2016 Annual Report <br /> Prepared for: <br /> Ready Mixed Concrete Company <br /> Prepared by: <br /> Michael I Hart,Hart Environmental <br /> Permittee Name: Ready Mixed Concrete Company(RMCC) <br /> Permit Number: M-2008-082 <br /> Operation Name: Morton Lakes <br /> Anniversary Date: January 12,2017 <br /> Annual Fee Due: $791.00 <br /> County: Weld <br /> RMCC's Morton Lakes Pit was actively mined during the 2015-16 reporting period <br /> of this Annual Report. <br /> Pursuant to DRMS approved Technical Revisions 002 and 003, in 2016 RMCC <br /> began mining Stages 5 and 3 of the currently approved Morton Lakes Sand and Gravel <br /> Permit. Also in 2016,the Morton Lakes sand and gravel processing plant was <br /> operational. The plant is located the western most extent of mining Stage 5 as shown on <br /> the DRMS approved mining plan. The attached map was prepared based on the operators <br /> mining and processing plant and site development activities in 2016. <br /> In 2017 the operator intends to begin construction of the conveyor suspension <br /> bridge over the South Platte River in order to transport sand and gravel mined from the <br /> east side of the South Platte (currently approved Holton Mining Stages 2 and 3)to the <br /> Morton Lakes sand and gravel processing plant. <br /> Also, in 2017 the operator intends to complete the permit amendment of the Morton <br /> Lakes permit by combining it with permit M-2007-008 (Holton Lakes). <br />
