RULE 2 PERMITS <br />RULE 2 - PERMITS <br />2.01 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />The information provided in the subsections of Rule 2.01, Volume 1, is specifically applicable to the <br />Collom permit expansion area. Information regarding the Colowyo's previous mining areas is located in <br />Rule 2 of Volume 1 and other referenced areas. <br />2.01.1— 2.01.3 Scope and General Requirements <br />These sections are addressed in Volume 1, Rule 2. <br />2.01.4 Permit Requirements for New Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation Operations <br />The Colowyo Mine is an existing mine operation; therefore, the requirements of this section are not <br />applicable. <br />2.01.5 Permit Term <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (CDRMS) made a final decision on May 29, <br />2013 and approved the Collom expansion area extending mining operations to an area inside Federal Coal <br />Leases C-0123475, C-0123476, COC -68590, and State Lease 257-13s.
