9. Previous recordings:
Site 5MF.4006 was originally recorded in 1995 by Metcalf Archaeological Consultants for the Colowyo Coal Company
Lease and Exploration Areas: Class III Cultural Resource Inventory. In 2001 the site was revisited by the BLM Little
Snake Field Office and again in 2005 by TRC Mariah Associates as part of the Colowyo Collom Mine expansion
project.

Explain:
In 1995 site 5MF.4006 was recommended as needing more data by Metcalf Archaeological Consultants. BLM Little
Snake Field Office concurred in 2001 and TRC concurred in 2005. Additional information about the site can be most
likely obtained through Native American consultation. Tetra Tech also concurs and. no changes or impacts were noted
during the 2015 revisit.
