All pH <br /> data were considered in estimating ambient quality as of January 31, 1994 since the full data set <br /> considers the range of variability over time and throughout the period of overall improving water <br /> quality. Therefore these data establish an appropriately conservative estimation of ambient <br /> quality as of January 31, 1994. Table 5-2, presents the summary statistics associated with all <br /> pH data from GW#2 and the calculation of the ambient value.
