Minerals Company, LLC 8717 Delgany Avenue #215 Playa del Rey, CA 90293 Re: Proposed Decision Permit Renewal Application No. 7 (RN-7 ) Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine (Permit No. C-1984 -065 ) Dear Sir or Madam: The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve a renewal application for coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by C.B. Minerals Company, LLC on February 25, 2016 for the Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision. Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of the public notice by the Division in the Glenwood Springs Post Independent . The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles West of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: T6S, R91W; Portions of Sections 1 and 12 T6S, R90W; Portions of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16 Copies of the renewal application a re available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder, 109 8th Street, Suite 200, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
