The application was submitted by C.B. <br />Minerals Company, LLC on February 25, 2016 for the Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine . In accordance <br />with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication <br />of the public notice by the Division in the Glenwood Springs Post Independent . <br /> <br />The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles West of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />T6S, R91W; Portions of Sections 1 and 12 <br /> T6S, R90W; Portions of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16 <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application a re available for public review in the Division offices at the <br />above address and at the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder, 109 8th Street, Suite 200, Glenwood <br />Springs, CO 81601.
