Aggregate Industries (AI) received <br /> draft responses to the Division's first and second adequacy review items from its engineering <br /> consultants, HDR over the weekend and met to review those responses with HDR yesterday. <br /> HDR is currently making a few revisions to the responses and anticipates submitting those <br /> responses to the Division by November 30; however, we realize that does not provide the <br /> Division sufficient time to review and make a decision. <br /> As previously discussed, Al will not be able to commence activities associated with TR-2 until <br /> site access is restored via the Old St. Vrain Bridge, which was destroyed during the September <br /> 2013 flood event. The most recent information available from Boulder County indicates that the <br /> 90%construction plan set has been completed (uploaded to their website October 18) and that <br /> construction is still planned to commence in early 2017 (February). <br /> As we just discussed by phone, Al is requesting an extension of the decision date to February 28, <br /> 2017 which we anticipate will allow adequate time for sufficient review of responses to current <br /> adequacy items and as well as any subsequent questions or concerns the Division may have. <br /> Thank you for your consideration. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> -o - 4", <br /> Connie N.
