EXHIBIT L WORST CASE RECLAMATION SCENARIO
Due to the long mine life of the Trout Valley Ranch (50+ years)bonding estimates reflect the
reclamation scenario that is feasible for implementation in the reasonably near term. Therefore, for
the purposes of this section,the reclamation plan that the bond will be based on is similar to that
shown on Map F-1. This is when a portion of the dredge piles have been mined, and the supporting
facilities such as roads have been installed. This is roughly 85 acres of disturbed area that will
require topsoiling and seeding. It is expected to take 20 years to reach this point.
The worst case reclamation tasks are outlined below.
1. Backfill and grade recirculation pond(five feet deep). 8067 CY @$1.50/CY to haul and
place=$12,100
2. Place topsoil equivalent on all disturbed areas (85 acres)to a depth of 12 inches. 137,617
CY @$1.50 to haul and place=$206,426
3. Remove all facilities and equipment. $25,000
4. Augment topsoil equivalent with soil additive. 85 acres @$250/acre=$21,250
5. Seeding and mulching all disturbed areas. 85 acres @$700/acre=$59,500
Based on these costs, and a 28% DRMS cost factor,the total bond for the Trout Valley Ranch
should be$415,073.
Worst case reclamation costs for this scenario are shown in Table L-1 below:
Trout Valley Ranch November 2016 L-1 Greg Lcwicki and Associates.PLLC
