EXHIBIT J VEGETATION INFORMATION
1. Existing Vegetation Community
The vegetation found on the Trout Valley Ranch property is dry rangeland with the occasional lake.
Figures J-1 &J-2 shows the general vegetation present on site. The ground coverage is typically no
greater than 60%. Four to seven-foot-tall shrubs can be found near the existing lakes on site.
National wetlands inventory from the US Fish and Wildlife Service has identified some possible
wetlands within the old dredge piles, but these are associated with man-made lakes maintained by
the fishing club. Given this artificial hydrology and general absence of obligate wetland species and
wetland soils in these areas, no jurisdictional wetlands are anticipated to be disturbed by mining
activities within the affected area.
III
IJ
F;*;.
;K ".
