• COLORADO <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />November 21, 2016 <br />Mr. Tom Bird <br />GCC Energy, LLC <br />6473 County Road 120 <br />Hesperus, CO 81326 <br />Re: King Coal Mine, Stipulations related to TR -26 (Stipulations 18 and 19) <br />Dear Mr. Bird: <br />The Division has determined that GCC has complied with Stipulations 18 and 19, which were compliance <br />requirements associated with permit C-1981-035. <br />Stipulation 18 required GCC to submit a Natural Resources Survey for the monitoring sites affiliated with <br />TR -26. GCC sent this to the Division, and it was received on November 7, 2016. Staff at the Colorado <br />Parks and Wildlife reviewed this report and found that impacts to wildlife and wildlife habitat would be <br />minimal. <br />Stipulation 19 required GCC to submit a Cultural Resources Survey for the monitoring sites affiliated with <br />TR -26. GCC sent this to the Division, and it was received on November 14, 2016.
