AVCOLORADO <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />November 21, 2016 <br />Brian Watterson <br />Twenty Mile Coal Company <br />29515 Routt County Road #27 <br />Oak Creek, CO 80467 <br />RE: Foidel Creek Mine; C-1982-056, DMR Submittal Review (3Q; CO -0036684,3Q; COG- <br />850051, <br />OG850051, 3Q; COG -850054, 3Q and September 2016; CO -0027154,3Q; CO -0042161) <br />Dear Mr. Watterson: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found the above <br />referenced reports to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2)(a)(iii). The Discharge Monitoring Reports <br />for the above CDPS permit was received by the Division on November 10, 2016 during a site inspection <br />and on November 16, 2016 via e-mail. The cover letter for each of the reports were addressed to Eric <br />Mink with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment with the Water Quality Control <br />Division. <br />3Q; CO -0036684: According to the report, Site 62 discharged each week of the monitoring period and <br />no exceedances were noted. <br />3Q; COG -850051: According to the report the 6MN pond did not discharge during the 3Q of 2016. <br />3Q; COG -850054: According to the report the 18 LT pond did not discharge during the 3Q of 2016. <br />3Q and September; CO -0027154: According to the report, Ponds Band D discharged during the <br />monitoring period and no exceedances were noted. <br />3Q; CO -0042161: According to the report, Site 115 discharged three weeks in July and one week in <br />August but did not discharge in September. Site 300E and 3001 did not discharge during the monitoring <br />period.
