Mosch Exploration and Mining, LLC and Phoenix Gold Mine Tours
P.O. Box 1484
Idaho Springs, CO 80452
November 14, 2016
Mr. Michael Cunningham
Environmental Protection Specialist
RE: Poorman Mine; DRMS File No. M-1982-058
Dear Michael,
Enclosed is an annual report for the other permitted mine my father has called the Poorman. This is a
very small silver mine located approximately 4 miles west of the Phoenix mine, also up Trail Creek in
clear Creek County, Colorado. I believe it is also in your district. The mine is an intermittent operation
that we do exploration activities during the summer time. It is inaccessible in the Winter due to its
elevation of 10,000 feet and steep access road. We have in the past asked to obtain intermittent
status but apparently, we did not apply correctly or our request was lost.
The mine is probably under bonded and I would like to go through the process of obtaining the
correct bonding as soon as possible. The mine has a rare ore in that it has no sulfides. The contained
silver mineralization is in native form and has produce some amazing mineral specimens. Also, all
the workings are above the water table and current activities will not encounter water. During the
summer, we do actively advance the underground openings and bring small amounts of waste rock
to the surface. Very little additional surface is disturbed each year since the waste rock is place upon
previously disturbed areas. We may only advance 15 to 20 feet per year of underground openings.
We consider this a"hobby mine" and currently work is confined to exploration.
You may notice that the Annual report is very late. We do apologies for this and hope you will accept
it anyway. Somehow our internal possess failed us this year.
Lastly, we need to know how to re-assign the Permittee Name of the permit. Rocky West Mining
Corp. is long gone and My Father is getting old enough to need my help in all his affairs.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any more question or concerns at(775) 385-3638 or e-mail
me at davidmosch@yahoo.com.
Thank You,
.D—Jwcv-
David Mosch
Mining Engineer
