Cunningham <br /> Colorado DRMS <br /> 1313 Sherman St.,Room 215 <br /> Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> Dear Mr. Cunningham, <br /> Devin Black of Rettew Inc. tested both the up-gradient and down-gradient wells <br /> at the Hukill Gulch millsite on October 28, 2016. There was 1 and 1/2 inches of water in <br /> the up-gradient well. The results are attached. <br /> Patrick Maher and Patricia Popp tested both the up-gradient and down-gradient <br /> wells at the Hukill Gulch millsite on October 30, 2016. The results are as follows: <br /> Up-gradient well: <br /> 1) Unlocked and opened the security cap. <br /> 2) Inserted a geotech .84xl2 inch bailer-style sampler into the casing and <br /> lowered it via a clean nylon cord. <br /> 3) Let sampler reside on bottom for 4 minutes. <br /> 4) No water was collected and therefore the well was dry. <br /> Down- gradient well: <br /> 1) Unlocked and opened the security cap. <br /> 2) Inserted a geotech .84xl2 inch bailer-style sampler into the casing and <br /> lowered it via a clean nylon cord. <br /> 3) Let sampler reside on bottom for 4 minutes. <br /> 4) No water was collected and therefore the well was dry. <br /> Devin Black and Patrick Maher re-tested the up-gradient well on October 31, <br /> 2016. The well was dry, results are attached. <br /> The water level in the tailings pond is down about 4 inches due to evaporation, <br /> there is no indication of leakage in the liner. <br />
