There was 1 and 1/2 inches of water in
the up-gradient well. The results are attached.
Patrick Maher and Patricia Popp tested both the up-gradient and down-gradient
wells at the Hukill Gulch millsite on October 30, 2016. The results are as follows:
Up-gradient well:
1) Unlocked and opened the security cap.
2) Inserted a geotech .84xl2 inch bailer-style sampler into the casing and
lowered it via a clean nylon cord.
3) Let sampler reside on bottom for 4 minutes.
4) No water was collected and therefore the well was dry.
Down- gradient well:
1) Unlocked and opened the security cap.
2) Inserted a geotech .84xl2 inch bailer-style sampler into the casing and
lowered it via a clean nylon cord.
3) Let sampler reside on bottom for 4 minutes.
4) No water was collected and therefore the well was dry.
Devin Black and Patrick Maher re-tested the up-gradient well on October 31,
2016.
