The revision was submitted by Moffat County Mining, LLC. <br />All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date <br />of filing. <br /> <br />This permit revision proposes a modification to the vegetation sampling methodologies and <br />vegetation success standards for the Williams Fork Mines. The applicant is not proposing <br />additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of <br />Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, T5N, R91W; part of Section 1, T5N, R92W; and Sections <br />17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, T6N, R91W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6n, <br />R92W; 6th Prime Meridian. <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Round Bottom, Castor Gulch. <br />
