DECEIVED
Carol and Jeff Wilson
3127 C Road NOV 012016
Grand Junction,CO 81503
DIVISION OF RECLAMATION
Oct.25,2016 MINING AND SAFETY
Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Regarding the C Road Pits, Permit#M20126-050
Dear Sirs,
Living along C Road here in Grand Junction has sometimes been a challenge with all the truck traffic. As
a homeowner along C Road we are concerned about the possible increase in Truck Traffic with another
pit opening along C Road. Is there someone who can address our questions?
Will the number of trucks per day be limited? We understand currently it is one hundred, would that
become two hundred with two pits?
Will there be another entrance to the second pit or will they continue to use the current entrance?
If there is to be another entrance where will it be located?
The starting time of the truck entering the pit was seven, they are now entering at six. Can this be
enforced back to seven?
Is it possible to have the dirt portion of C Road paved so some of this traffic can go west from C Rd. and
31RD?Our street is already heavy with truck traffic.
Can the speed limit be lowed with all this traffic to a safer limit?Currently it is at 40 mph.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Our property values and lives are
impacted by these changes. Some details regarding this permit and what we can expect would be
warranted.
Neighbors onn`C Road
,c---
Carol and Jeff Wilson
