This modification is being made to reflect changes over time in area vegetation
communities and reference areas, lessons -learned relative to revegetation success, and to be consistent with
revegetation success criteria and determinations for the adjacent mine properties.
With this revision submittal, we are providing updated PAP text for parts of Rule 2.05 to reflect proposed
modifications to the vegetation sampling methodologies and revegetation success standards.
This submittal includes revised PAP text and supporting materials, as identified by the Attached Summary of
Revisions and Additions. MCM is preparing Bond Release applications for Williams Fork Mines and would
appreciate a quick review and response to this Technical Revision. If you have any questions after reviewing
this submittal, feel free to contact me via email or phone.
Sincerely,
/
Miranda Blom qulst
Engineering Technician - Environmental
Moffat County Mining, LLC
mblomquist@peabodyenergy.com
