It appears the above-mentioned project is proposed for the expansion of the <br /> boundaries of the existing marble quarry. \\-as the quarn,itself evaluated to determine if it meets National Register <br /> Criteria for eligibility? <br /> .After review of the scope of work and assessment of adverse effect,we note that the above-mentioned survey <br /> recommended avoidance of sites 5GN.6292 and 5GN.6293. Please provide additional information regarding the <br /> proposed plan and the possible avoidance of these two sites. We request continued consultation regarding our <br /> questions before commenting on the assessment of adverse effect. <br /> Should unidentified archaeological resources be discovered in the course of the project,v ork must be interrupted <br /> until the resources have been evaluated in terms of the National Register eligibihty criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in <br /> consultation with our office pursuant to 36 CI,R 800.13. .Also, should the consulted-upon scope of the work <br /> change please contact our office for continued consultation under 36 CFR 800. <br /> \\-c request being involved in the consultation process with the local government,which as stipulated in 36 (;FR <br /> 8003 is required to be notified of the undertaking,and with other consulting parties. Additional information <br /> provided bt the local government or consulting parties might cause our office to re-evaluate our eligibility and <br /> potential effect findings.
