On June 13, 2016, J. E. Stover and Associates, Inc. submitted a letter to
the Division waiving the operator's right to the required 120 day time frame for
issuance of a decision to the land use change application as specified in Rule
2.07.4(2)(b). Based on the requirement of Mesa County approval, Rule
4.16.3(1), the letter requested an extension to October 31, 2016.
The approval by Mesa County for the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) was
finalized on October 11, 2016. A copy was sent to the Division with SCC's
Adequacy response submittal #2 dated October 20, 2016. Considering the short
time frame, SCC is hereby requesting an additional extension of the Division's
decision to November 18, 2016.
