Segment 1 <br />is classified for the following uses: Recreation. Class lb; Aquatic Life, Class !(Cold); Water Supply, Agriculture. The Division reviewed thisfacility on June <br />11, 2002, and determined that the antidegradation presumption was overcome because discharge does not occur during low flow periods. <br />The activity involves discharge of surface runoff only from active areas. No other sources of wastewater will be discharged. <br />001 and 002 shall be the discharge of final treated water before entering Hay Gulch. Effluent limitations are specified below and in Part LB. Ld). <br />The permittee is encouraged to read the general rationale for an understanding of how this permit was developed and to read the permit to see what <br />requirements exist. Widen the body of the permit itself, monitoring requirements are specified in Pan I.B.1a), the StornzwaterManagement Plan requirements <br />are specified in Part LB.2. and notification requirements for effluent violations are addressed in Part II.A. <br />Salinity (TDS) monitoring of the discharge will be required. Phosphorus monitoring of the discharge will not be required. <br />Based upon previous discharge monitoring data, the permittee has generally maintained compliance with theirpermit. <br />Aftfirication: Based on the above information, National King Coal, LLC is certified to discharge from the King Coal Mine tinder the general permit for coal <br />initzg, idetztifzed as permit ntimber COG - 850000.
