2.03.4 (9) - Lands Contiguous to the Permit Area <br />OSMRE permit CO -0106A lies contiguous to the permit area and comprises much of <br />the coal reserves currently being mined at the King II mine. This permit is described <br />as follows: <br />Federal Coal Lease COC -62920: <br />T. 35 N., R. 11 W., N.M.P.M. North of Ute Line <br />Section 19, lots 4, 5, E2SW4, 8s SE4 <br />T.35.N, R. 12 W., N.M.P.M., North of Ute Line <br />Section 24, lots 1, 2, and SW4SE4. <br />Section 25, lots 1, 2, W2NE4 and W2. <br />Section 26, SE4NE4, E2SE4, SW4SE4. <br />Section 35, NE4. <br />Containing approximately 1,224.51 acres. <br />OSMRE permit CO -0106A also includes a coal lease held in fee. This coal lease is <br />owned in part by the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe (50%), Stephens (25%) and Dunn (25%). <br />The Ute Mountain Tribe (Tribe) owns 100% of the surface rights to the property which <br />overlies the coal lease assigned to GCC Energy, LLC and is described as follows: <br />T. 35 N., R. 12 W., N.M.P.M.
