Based on the Division's site inspection conducted on October 6th, 2016 it does not appear the vegetation
established for this area is similar to the surrounding reclaimed area or the surrounding undisturbed area. Given this, we
shall not be able to make the finding required by Rule 3.03.1(5) to Phase III bond release the area.
Also, as we discussed there were several vegetation monitoring transects that were used to evaluate revegetation
success that appear to be within the 1.2 acre Pond 11 area. We will have to evaluate if the bond release area still meets
the revegetation success criteria without the cover data from these transects. Please let me know if you have any other
questions.
Thank you,
Jared
'A
# U`
jared.ebert@state.co.us ( mining.state.co.us
https://mail . googl e. com/m ai I/u/0/?ui =2&i k= e29129fcb5&view= pt&search= i nbox&th=157c47627bbd 118b&si m I=157c47627bbd 118b 1/1
