ENECA
Property, LLC
Seneca Property, LLC
Response:
SPL has already included a commitment in the permit text to resume monitoring one year prior to
final bond release. This text was updated to include monitoring for the entire suite of parameters
on pages 15-3a-4 and 15-3a-6 of Appendix 15-3A, Current Hydrologic Monitoring Program. The
updated pages have been attached to this submittal.
Unfortunately, Ground Water Wells WHA.L6-2 and WTC201 will not resume monitoring due to
their conditions. WHAL6-2 will use the relatively close Well WHAL7-2 data for Final Bond
Release. There is no power to connect to for WTC201, therefore no water quality monitoring can
be performed. As stated above, SPL does not believe this well to be affected by any of the prior
mining activity. Resuming monitoring of Well WTC201 is not feasible not is it necessary.
Attachments:
• Page 15-3a-4 and 15-3a-6 of Appendix 15-3A, Current Hydrologic Monitoring Program.
SPL hopes that the Division fords these responses sufficient and adequate for the approval of Technical
Revision No. 82.
