Flow from a nearby USGS station, USGS 7099220 Little Turkey Creek Near Fountain, CO, was
also evaluated. USGS 7099220 is located approximated 2 miles downstream from the LTC-1
station. Figure G-4 illustrated the flow hydrograph at USGS 7099220 during its operating period
of 1978 to 1988. Calculated flows at the LTC-1 station are similar to the historic flows at USGS
7099220, with higher flows during the spring runoff and summer months and mostly dry conditions
during the fall and winter months.

Little Turkey Creek is located within Stream Segment 14d of the Upper Arkansas River Basin and
has been classified by the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC) as supporting
aquatic life, recreation, and agriculture'. Water quality samples were collected during each site
visit, either at the LTC-1 location or upstream of the location where water was available. Each
