This mining
sequence change is necessitated by the fact that the north end of Stage 2 was determined to be
unminable due to clay and mud seams in the sand and gravel deposit. As a result, without an
interim source of sand and gravel, RMCC will run out of minable aggregate before sand and
gravel from Holton will be ready to be mined and conveyed to the
Morton sand and gravel plant.
Enclosed with this letter please find the following:
1. Request for Technical Revision (TR) Cover Sheet;
2. An Overview of the requested TR;
3. Exhibit "D" with notes related to the requested TR;
4. A check (#5146) in the amount of $216.00 to cover the required TR fee.
If you have any questions regarding this requested Technical Revision please do not
hesitate to call me at (303) 444-6602.
Sincerely,
Michael J.
