In addition, Technical Revision No. 85 would result in the deactivation of
the SW -14 and SW -15 stream monitoring sites, and modify the stream monitoring schedule
during the months of March, August and September. At this time, CPW does not anticipate
the proposed activities associated with Technical Revision 85 will directly affect wildlife
species that occupy portions of the Foidel Creek Mine either seasonally or year-round.
Moreover, CPW does not recommend any additional site-specific mitigation.
CPW appreciates the opportunity to provide comments for the Foidel Creek Mine Technical
Revision No. 85. For additional information or to request clarification on CPW's comments,
please contact Brett Smithers, Land Use Specialist, at 970-878-6069.
Sincerely,
Kris Middledorf, Area Wildlife Manager
Cc.
