Description of Amendment or Conversion:
If you are amending or converting an existing operation, provide a brief narrative describing the proposed change(s).
Loveland Ready-Mix Concrete, Inc. requests an amendment to permit number M-2001-022. Contingent upon
approval of the Weld County USR Permit in effect over the site, Loveland Ready-Mix would like to change the
restored use of the site from agricultural and wildlife habitat. LRM would like the western portion of the site to
continue to support the current concrete batch plant after mining is completed, with the remainder of the
reclamation plan to remain unchanged. Loveland Ready-Mix is requesting to continue the operation of the
concrete batch plant and associated aggregate processing in perpetuity. Sand and gravel resources on the
approved mine site are being depleted and LRM plans to continue importing sand and gravel from the
Walters-Bokelman Pit in order to continue operations after the on-site gravel resources have been exhausted.
