The exact location of the test pits will depend on the results of each prior
test hole. It is our intention to keep disturbance within a future pond footprint. However, test pit
results may dictate an unforeseen relocation or redesign.
All excavations will be backfilled and graded prior to the equipment leaving the site.
Pond designs will be submitted in the near future as a Technical Revision.
The area within the "Geotechnical Investigation Area" has been recently surveyed for cultural
resources and sensitive species. No cultural resources or sensitive species were recorded.
If you have any further questions please contact me at 970-675-4322.
Thanks.
Scott Wanstedt
Environmental Engineer
swanstedw-al deserado. corn
enc:
cc: Jeff Dubbert
Jennifer Maiolo — BLM
