The Bear Mine permit was revoked on 6/6/2013. <br /> The weather was clear, fine and dry. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The sediment pond was dry. <br /> The treatment pond was holding water well above the level of the river,as usual. <br /> Water was continuing to seep from the toe of the slide area,with more than one flow path; not all of the <br /> seeping water ended up in the treatment pond. <br /> The North Fork of the Gunnison River was flowing at around 240 cfs, according to the USGS gaging <br /> station at Somerset,which is broadly in line with the seasonal average. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> The pre-bid meeting on July 12 was successful,with 6 bids subsequently received by the Division. The <br /> contract was awarded to McCollom's Excavating, out of Hotchkiss,whose bid was around$47,000.
