1 7.1 Public Notification Permit Renewal/Revision for 2013-2017 Term
<br />The following notice is to inform the public of a permit renewal/revision for the Trapper Mine. Figure 1.7 gives a
<br />visual presentation of the active mining area associated with the notice.
<br />PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />Trapper Mining Inc. intends to revise its surface coal mining permit (CDMG Permit No. C-81-010, approved
<br />12/31/07) to project future permit term activities (2013 to 2017). This action is being proposed as permit
<br />revision PR -07. Projected activities include disturbing an additional 90 acres within the approved permit area to
<br />add new mine pits and advance current pits. The present permit allows for a pond spillway and flume to be
<br />within 100 feet of a section of County Road 107. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and
<br />Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate From this date of tiling. Trapper Mine is located 6'/ miles south of
<br />Craig, Colorado. The specific area to which this proposed permit revision applies is:
