,
Set s 44 as ^ y LrY
T3
w
Areas of importance to Wildlife-Hall I1, Aggregate Mine Reclamation Site.
s
j
Little Brown bat maternity colony and flight path to `Pool 1"based on telemetered individual
females. (Adams, 2015).
RECOMMENDATIONS for Reclamation of Aggregate Mining Site:
• Based on a multiple year, extensive survey effort, maintaining some level of presence
of the mine retention pond appears critical for NLF and several bat species. The other
ponds within the mine site footprint are also providing very important water sources.
Example: ex: `Pool F is of extreme importance to the little brown bat(Myotis
lucifugus) maternity colony just west of Hall 2.
o With the understanding that water rights are in question, and complicated, any
level of maintaining free standing water on site is strongly recommended.
