PERMIT#: M-1990-057
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: MAC
INSPECTION DATE:August 3,2016
water from snowmelt and rain events was found to be flowing under the stockpiles as evidenced by staining of
the ground south of the stockpile. The Division did not observe any staining of the ground surface outside of
the permit area and all drainage was contained to the area immediately south of the stockpile. This matter has
been cited as a problem and will require corrective action by the Operator. Please see the first page of this
report for additional information.
Hydrologic Balance:
The Division inspected the two new monitoring wells, MW-2 and MW-3, which the Operator installed in
October 2014. The up gradient well is MW-3 and the downgradient point of compliance is MW-2. The wells
were securely capped at the time of the inspection.
Revegetation:
The Operator is following the approved Weed Control Plan and informed the Division the site was sprayed for
noxious weeds approximately two weeks prior to the inspection. The Division did no observe any issues with
noxious weeds at the site.
