(Tri-State), is the parent <br />company to Axial Basin Coal Company, which is the general partner to Colowyo Coal Company <br />L.P. (Colowyo). Therefore, Tri-State on behalf of Colowyo is submitting three (3) copies of <br />minor revision 160 (MR -160) to Permit No. C-1981-019. <br />MR -160 proposes nine additional drill hole locations within the South Taylor Pit. All of <br />the drill holes proposed under this minor revision will be mined through during the normal <br />progression of the South Taylor Pit. Drilling that was approved under MR -158 has been <br />currently occurring on the ground, and these additional holes are being proposed due to geologic <br />condition encountered during the current drilling efforts. These additional drill holes will <br />provide fiu-ther data that will assist Colowyo with highwall stability and the coal structure <br />modeling. <br />Also proposed under MR -160, drill hole ST -16-11 that was approved under MR -158 is <br />being removed from the drilling program. This drill hole location was required to be bonded for <br />as it was located outside of the mining footprint. With this hole being removed, it is requested <br />that the Division update the bond liability accordingly since this drill hole will not be drilled. <br />Lastly, Colowyo will be incorporating the required information related to this drilling program in <br />the 2016 Annual Reclamation Report in accordance with Colowyo's permit to mine. <br />Also included in this minor revision application are a revision application and a change of <br />index sheet to ease incorporation into the permit document.
