RErFIVED
vAUG 312016
DIVISION OF RECLAMATION
MINING AIND SAFETY
Mr. Michael Cunningham August 28, 2016
Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman St, Room 215
Denver,Co 80203
v
RE: July 21,2016 Inspection Report Permit#P-2015-021
Dear Mr. Cunningham,
I received your inspection report and letter of Observations from July 21,2016.As you stated and as we
discussed only four of the 5 planned pits were excavated during our prospect operation.Your photo#1
portrays a trench that was dug by others(claim jumpers). This is the exact site where our 5th pit was to
be dug. After discovering this trench I contacted Amy Titterington of the USFS who later accompanied
me for an inspection of this trench as well as an illegal camp site. Because of this and difficulty in
accessing this site with machinery it was decided to abandon our plans to prospect this area. It is
unclear to me at this time if the USFS will pursue holding the party responsible for this for reclamation of
this area.
As mentioned our prospecting operation has been completed.Seeding of the disturbed areas will begin
in the next couple weeks.Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
I?-
John Crowley
