The report fee was previously sent to and received by the Division on June 27. During 2015-16,topsoil and overburden were removed from the remaining island of material in the northern portion of Cell 3, which was used in constructing the remainder of a dike that divides Cell 3 into northern and southern ponds. Anticipated mining activity during 2016-17 includes previously disturbed areas and the Cell 3 island. In addition to construction of the dike dividing Cell 3,a dike between the two reclaimed wetland areas at the southern end of Cell 3 was restored and sloping of the southern boundary of Cell 3 between the wetland areas was completed. Reclamation activity in current permit year is expected to include remaining sloping along the northern border of Cell 3. Weed monitoring and management is ongoing. Groundwater monitoring wells installed in accordance with the Groundwater Management Plan on file with the Division for this operation are measured monthly,and copies of the data collected from July 2015 through June, 2016 are enclosed. Also enclosed is a copy of the signed Affidavit, as submitted in 2007,regarding compliance with mining setbacks from the Cache La Poudre River. There was no mining within 200 feet of the Cache La Poudre River during the permit year ended July 13,2016.
