Compliance With Mine Plan <br />N - Other <br />NA - Processing Waste <br />R - Roads <br />R - Reclamation Success <br />R - Revegetation <br />NA - Subsidence <br />NA - Slides and Other Damage <br />N - Support Facilities On-site <br />R - Signs and Markers <br />NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />R -Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />A complete inspection of the Keenesburg Strip Mine, C1981-028, operated by Coors Energy Company <br />was conducted by me, Robin Reilley, of the DRMS on Thursday 25 August 2016. Danny Kipp was <br />present during the inspection. Skies were lightly cloudy and temperatures reached the low 60 degrees F. <br />The site experienced no rains recently. <br />No scraping operations were taking place. Mowing was scheduled for later in the day. Topsand piles, <br />ponds, Pit B and revegetation areas were observed. Compost had been stockpiled to be readily on hand <br />when needed. <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br />July 2016 <br />Dugout pond and Sediment Pond #2 appear overgrown with cattails. The operator <br />indicated that the ponds would be cleared during winter freeze. <br />INSPECTION: <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br />o The mine site identification sign inside the entrance to the facilities from County Road 59 <br />was intact, displaying all required information: mine name, operator name, address, phone <br />number and DRMS permit number and contact information. <br />o Topsand stockpiles observed were clearly marked with identifying signs.
