During this quarter, four NPDES outfalls were active. Outfalls 001, 002 and 011
discharged routinely throughout the quarter. Outfall 020 discharged in response to spring snowmelt occurring in
early April. Outfalls 008, 009, 017, 018, 019, 021, 022, 023 and 024 did not discharge during the quarter. Values
reported on the enclosed DMRs represent the maximum (or minimum as applicable) monthly/daily values generated
at each outfall during the quarter.
The TDS is reportable on a quarterly basis per our permit. All outfalls have
been properly maintained. One pond exceeded the 60% threshold for sediment accumulation. After spring runoff
Middle Flume #1 pond was observed at 70% of its sediment threshold. The pond has been cleaned out and no
exceedances or water quality issues were noted in the Middle Flume #3 discharge and corresponding NPDES outfall
020.
If you have any further questions or comments concerning the enclosed information, feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED AND SIGNED THROUGH NetDMR
Graham Roberts
Environmental Engineer
GCR [WATER\DMR Cover Letter\NetDMR Cover Letters\C00032115_DMRCov_2016_02.doc)
Enclosure
