MCC have completed all actions <br />necessary for SL-10 to be approved. Some autumn weed treatment remains outstanding for SL-09 <br /> RN-07 was found complete on February 1, 2016. The initial adequacy review was sent to MCC on <br />May 3. A response was received by the Division on May 24. The proposed decision due date has <br />been extended to <br />August 30. <br /> TR-139 was received by the Division on August 16, 2016. <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES – Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> MCC staff were spreading pond cleanings on the RPEE. The surface of the pile was graded so as to <br />prevent water from pooling. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> MCC’s weed spraying program appears to be effective at controlling weeds - none were observed on this <br />inspection. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br /> No work had been done on the small surficial slides beneath the road to the RPEE. Barr Engineering had <br />been consulted and MCC were in the process of developing a plan to tackle the problem. <br />The repaired slide on the outslope of the Materials Storage Bench (MSB) had not yet been re-seeded. <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br />A hard copy of the revised 2014 and 2015 Annual Reclamation Reports was delivered during the inspection. <br />OTHER (SPECIFY) <br />N/A <br /> <br /> <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br />
