This decision will become
final at the close of the thirty (30) day public comment period, which commences with the initial
publication in the Canon City Daily Record. A copy of the proposed decision is enclosed.
In addition to the areas included in the EFCI SL -04 application, the adequacy process resulted in
another small area (the spur off the MW -NW road) being left within the permit boundary. This
change was due to the omission of this area from the areas subject to possible vegetation
sampling. As provided by Rule 3.03.2(6), should you object to the Division's proposed decision,
you may request an adjudicatory hearing.
If you have questions or if you would like a copy of the findings document, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Robert D.
