12. Will site extraction involve the exposure of tributary ground water?
Nol
13. Will either the landowner or the mine site operator receive any type of compensation, i.e.,
monetary, in-kind hauling fees, etc., from the proposed material extraction?
Nol
14. Please supply a copy of any documents that will ensure that the area of extraction will be reclaimed
to some beneficial land use once extraction activities have been completed.
There are no specific documents pertaining to this site and reclamation to a beneficial land use. Our
reclamation activities (the backfilling of holes dug) is a continuous effort that is intended to keep the site
much as we found it. It is not our intent to materially change the site in any way, but rather to allow it
to continue to exist as a healthy part of our National Forest.
15. Do you have permits for this activity from any other governmental agencies such as building,
construction, or grading permits, and if so, what are they?
We have no permits such as the ones that you have listed. We do have a claim filed with the Federal
Bureau of Land Management (CMC 264721) and have filed a Notice of Intent for Mining Activities with
the South Park Ranger District. These documents have been included.
16. Are there state/federal/local agency participants in terms of funding (yes)-(no), design (yes)-(no)?
What are the percentages?
No and Nol There is no government involvement in terms of funding or design.
17. What post mining uses will be made of the site of extraction and why?
As far as we know, the area will continue to be a part of the National Forest with uses as deemed by the
U. S. Forest Service and will remain an area of forested land, as it is now. Any change in that will be as a
result of governmental action beyond our control.
18. What types and sizes of equipment will be used in the extraction?
As mentioned in our response to question 4, no mechanical equipment will be used on the site. All
digging will be done with hand tools such as picks, shovels, trowels, small pry bars, chisels, hammers,
and brushes. Extraction has to be done with care so as not to destroy the crystals of the minerals that
we seek.
