We are required <br />to send this letter to you as part of the application process. It <br />contains a date by which you will need to file any comments with <br />the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety for them to be consid- <br />ered during this permitting process. Everist, Inc. has filed an application amendment on their Reclamation <br />Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under the provisions of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act for the extraction of construction materials. <br />The proposed mine is known as the Carbon Valley Resource and is located in parts <br />of the NW% Section 6, T -2-N, R -67-W, 6th Principal Meridian, Firestone, Weld <br />County, Colorado. <br />The mining started in 2001 and the proposed date of completion is December <br />2036. The proposed future use of the land is commercial/industrial. <br />Additional information and the tentative decision date may be obtained from <br />the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety, 1313 Sherman St., Suite 215, <br />Denver, CO 80203 (303) 866-3567, or at the Weld County Clerk to the Board, Board <br />of County Commissioners office 915 Tenth St., Greeley, Colorado 80631, or the <br />above named applicant. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be received by the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining & Safety by 4:00 p.m. on August 18, 2016. <br />Please note th<<l comments related to noise, truck traffic, hours of operation, +,seal rmpacls, effects on properl-v values and <br />other social or economic concerns are issues not subject to this OfhceQs lurisdid-on These subjects and similar ones are <br />typically addressed b.F your local Qoaernments, rather that the Diusion of Reclamation..Ilrning 4- Safete or the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. <br />
