Record Keeping-Keeping accurate and consistent records of each field
application is not only required by the Colorado Department of
Agriculture, but is necessary in tracking billing, inventory, total treated
acres, fulfilling research needs, etc. A written recording procedure is in
place. ,
B: Monitoring—Determining the success of our field efforts is critical,
Photographs are regularly taken as documentation in the field. Photo
points are sometimes established at appropriate points before and after
treatments. Both close-up, percent canopy cover photos, as well as large
.view photos are useful and are taken from recognizable, repeatable
locations. Narrative, off hand comments documenting unusual situations
are kept as valuable permanent records. Where practical, trial plots are
established to evaluate treatment methods. Handheld GPS units facilitate
quick and accurate locations of weed patches.
C. Overall—Every successful organization is in a constant state of self-
evaluation. Those standing pat are soon left behind, We periodically ask
ourselves—Are we meeting or at least progressing toward existing goals?
Are gttr goals still appropriate? Are our cetr_tnunity leaders on Board? Is
our funding still sound? Are our key people still performing up to
expectations? Are we having fun yet?
Van Valkenburg Cattle Co.,LLC Page 7 of 10
Construction Materials Limited Impact(110)Operation Reclamation Permit Application Form
