EXHIBIT B <br /> Rule 6.3.2 <br /> Site Description <br /> (a) Vegetation and soil characteristics in area of proposed operation: <br /> The area of the proposed operation currently consist of rangeland. Vegetation in the area of <br /> proposed operation consists of light native vegetation grasses described in Exhibit D. Applicant <br /> does not anticipate needing to remove timber from the area to extract material. However, some <br /> areas of the proposed operation and the surrounding land consists of Evergreen Forest and <br /> Deciduous Forest. See attached Land Cover Map.I <br /> According to the National Cooperative Soil Survey, soil in the general area of proposed <br /> operation consists of Peeler sandy loam, however, the actual proposed operation is Rock land. <br /> Please see attached Soil Map.2 <br /> Subject property is located within North Park Conservation District. <br /> (b)Permanent man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of affected area and <br /> owner of each structure (structures included on Exhibit E—Map) <br /> There is one permanent man-made structure within two hundred(200) feet of the affected area. <br /> The structure is Jackson County Road 53. Exhibit L describes Applicant's plan to obtain a <br /> structure agreement from Jackson County Road and Bridge in accordance with the rules. <br /> (c) Water resources in area of proposed operation <br /> Indian Creek runs along the west edge of Sec 11, T5N, R81 W 6th P.M. Indian Creek is <br /> approximately 3/4 miles from the proposed operation. In the NE1/4NE1A of Sec 11,there is an <br /> unnamed spring or drainage that leads to West Arapahoe Reservoir; however, it is hydrologically <br /> separated from the proposed operation by a ridge of land. The area of proposed operation is <br /> underlain by bedrock aquifer. Please see attached Water Resources Map. The proposed <br /> operation will not result in a discharge into state waters.
