6 (FORM 2 -Public filing) <br /> 8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged,stockpiled and redistributed for the re-establishment of <br /> vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br /> Topsoil thickness is thin to non-existent in the area. Rocky, C horizon soils are generally <br /> encountered within 6-12" of the ground surface. In any areas with significant topsoil <br /> development, the topsoil will e stockpiled loca y at the top of the drill site cutbank. <br /> 9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged(refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br /> When the drill hole is completed, it will be plugged using a sodium bentonite gel. A 10' <br /> thick cement plug will cap the top of the drill hole which will be marked with the drill hole <br /> number and date. u ace casing will be removed and if not completely removed will e <br /> cut off 2' be'ow the 'and surface. The surface will be left <br /> rough and where available boulders and logs will be used to minimize erosion and <br /> discourage access. The reclaimed areas will be re-seeded with approved seed mixtures <br /> annuallvTplant re-qPneratinn and Prosion concerns until the area is released by the <br /> permitting agency. <br /> 11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre-prospecting(or better)condition: <br /> All newly acinr-tructed roads.
