Box 191
Victor, CO 80860

Re: Project, Permit No. M-1980-244;
Technical Revision (TR-79) Approval

Dear Mr. Henris:

On August 19, 2016 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Technical Revision
application submitted to the Division on July 21, 2016, addressing the following:
High Grade Mill Solution Piping to AGVLF Injection Drains
The terms of the Technical Revision No. 79 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No.
M-1980-244. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1980-244 remain in full force and effect.

The Division has reviewed this minor change for impacts to the financial warranty. The $7,480 reclamation
cost estimate submitted with TR-79 was determined to be acceptable. When added to the previous estimated
liability amount of $173,365,571.00 (approval of TR-80, dated August 2, 2016) the new estimated liability is
$173,373,051.00. The performance bond currently held by the Division is $ $173,434,420.00. Therefore, the
surplus warranty is now $61,369.00. Please note TR-78 submitted on July 5, 2016, and considered complete
for the purpose of filing on July12, 2016; and TR-81submitted on August 8, 2016 are currently under review
and will likely also have impacts on the financial warranty.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact me at (303)866-3567 x8169.

Sincerely,

Timothy A.
